ARAD FREE TOURS
Arad Free Tours was launched in 2013, and has since offered guided tours to visitors from all over the world.
We started this project with the aim of promoting Arad – a city located in the western part of Romania. Its rich history and beautiful buildings have been forgotten by the local authorities in the last decades, so we realized that if we want something good to happen for the tourists visiting the city, we have to do it ourselves.
The team
The Arad Free Tours project boasts a team of almost 15 tour guides, all volunteers involved as much as their time allows, but all certified by the relevant ministries - Education and Tourism.
Experience
Although we all set out with minimal knowledge about tourism, over the years we have specialized, and our guides have come to organize tours for several thousand tourists arriving in Arad.
